The Unrivaled Okura Craftsmanship

The iconic Blue Rose by Okura Art China (Okura Touen) epitomises the beauty of living blossoms and entwining vines, coalesced with the mystical shades of fire-born artistry. Since its creation in 1928, this design has retained its popularity. In an era where blue roses were thought to be unfeasible to bloom, the Okura Art China's Blue Rose was created to give shape to that fantasy. With the unparalleled Okazome technique, it merges seamlessly with the porcelain white, and the mellifluous deep blue hue pleasantly blossoms to marvel the eye.

Every Okura V60 is a one-of-a-kind work of art. Due to the extremely intricate techniques involved in crafting each piece, just 100 unique, limited-edition masterpieces were hand crafted in this exclusive collaboration.

Okura Art China Okura White Technique

大倉白 | Okura White

Since its founding, Okura Art China (Okura Touen) has been devoted to a standard of excellence, crafting numerous works of art. An unique material developed by Okura Touen and forged from only the finest kaolin and fired using a unique technique at the temperature of 1460°C - resulting in porcelain that is exceptionally white, robust, and silky to the touch. This attention to detail gives rise to a porcelain of incomparable beauty.

Okura Art China Okazome Technique

岡染め | Okazome

The Okazome technique involves a complex process of painting the white fabric with cobalt paint and then subjecting it to a firing in the highest temperature kiln in the world, reaching a scorching 1,460 degrees. This process achieves a rich, unique hue of deep blue. The white porcelain produced by the world-renowned Okura Touen is a testament to the quality of this technique. The paint melts into the glaze, creating a glossy and smooth finish that will retain its luster for a long period of time.
